Are you going? The “Glow in the Dark” Tour with KanYe West

No 3D Glasses required!
I’ve never had the privilege to see any of these performers rock the spot in a major event like this. The last time KanYe came around I unwilling made no effort what so ever to peep his concert. I’ve heard a lot of good things about KanYe’s concert minus the huge attendance of Metro sexuals in pink and lime Polo’s. From what I’ve heard, the guy can really kick off a show. It’s gonna be our chance (wifey and I) to see hits like “Through the wire” live and not to mention “Gold Digger.” But what I am most interested in seeing is how he flips the visuals on “Flashing Lights” and “Stronger.” (2 of my favorite cuts of 2007) It’s sure to be an eye catcher. Adding Rihanna, Lupe Fiasco and N.E.R.D. is an absolute plus! That entire line up has been some of my favorite performers (minus Rihanna) and to see them live on stage is an added bonus!
Now the question remains… Floor or general seating? (Check out Ticket Master for tour dates and ticket info)

Brand New: Top Kat “Let Me Tell You Something” Video
The beat and the hook from TopKat’s new single “Let Me Tell You Something is infectious… I’m totally diggin’ it! Reppin’ Vallejo’s independent music scene (via Koch Records) I’m seein’ some familiar faces in the video! A step above that “Yay Area” Rap, Top Kat’s album (and it’s singles) are legitimate Hip-Hop Bangers.

Mos Def at the Leavey Event Center

The uber-versatile entertainer Mos Def will be at the Leavey Event Center, Santa Clara University on Monday, April 16. The mighty one will be on stage with HipHop/Rock/Punk Mickey Avalon and Von. I’m sure this show will go off as with any Mos Def concert. I’ve personally seen the cat perform several times over the passed few years and he’s never disappointed me. The show will cost $26 to rock out on the floor and $23 to parlay in the balcony from Ticketmaster, but if you know a student of SCU they can hook up tickets for $16 for the floor and $13 for the balcony.
Thanks Obijuan for the heads up!
