Hey Everyone, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony are back. Come to think of it, I believe the last Bone album I’ve ever boughten was 1997’s “The Art of War.” 10 years later and dozens of group and solo releases, Bone has found their way back to the mainstream circuit with the help of Swizz Beats… and the collaboration is a success to the groups sound and it’s loyal fans with “Strength and Loyalty”

Upon purchasing an album, the first thing I like to do is look at the back of the casing and see who is featured on just about any album. The right name is always a plus in purchasing the cd and I’m always hyped to see how the chemistry works with the artists and whether or not they can co-exist on the track together. Second, I always find myself looking in the liner notes to see who produced the track. It’s always a plus to see a familiar producer.

Enter Marco Polo, a producer who literally did his Homework. The kid via Toronto Canada went to school in New york obtaining a engeneering degree in music. (Producing) He did his Homework on beat making and sampling off his MPC 2000XL… bumps heads with the right producers and seeks knowledge from established producer Agallah and works his magic via internship at a respected studio in NYC. Welcome to his debut album “Port Authority.”

“The People” new single from Common

Guess who’s back? Common resurrects a new single “The People” off his upcoming album Finding Forever. Listen to the track produced by Kanye West exclusively oh his official Myspace before it goes to radio! THe verses are tight as usual but pay close attention to how KanYe chops up the beats and lays down the track- it’s almost reminiscent of the Late great J.Dilla- what a tribute!

My Boy walks into my cubicle and picks up “Duke Da God Presents: Dipset “More Than Music” Vol. 2″ and says “What the @#$% is this $h!t?!?! You listen to this now?” Hands down, Cam’Ron and Company (The Entire Dipset, Diplomats and Bird Gang Crew) is an acquired taste. On the other side of G-Unit or The R-O-C, there’s Killa Cam’s gang Dipset.Personally, I don’t hate nor love the whole Dipset steez but you just can’t help bump one of their albums. Especially in the cubicle here at my work. When I get so deep and frustrated at work, there’s nothing more entertaining than a Dipset related album that fills your thoughts with drug deals gone bad or a honey dip about to get dipped. (lol)
